Alene, thanks for the note! Nathaniel's wife was my g-grandmother and he was her first husband. I have doubts on that 1879 letter, as by then she was married for the third time, to a Hammonds. Her maiden name? Spelled at least four ways, and current descendants of that line use McFarling McFarlin was the earliest spelling, in NC.Why do you say he died in MO? Do you have info. on her AAron children? Thanks, Jim
