Found in the Standard Times /SouthCoastToday.com GLADYS CABRAL WAREHAM -- Gladys (COOPER) CABRAL, 86, of Rochester died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, in Tobey Hospital. She was the widow of Mahoney P. CABRAL, to whom she was married for 37 years. Born in Blakley, Ga., the daughter of the late Frank and Hattie (WILLIAMS) COOPER, she moved to New York, where she raised five children. She lived in Dorchester before moving to Rochester in 1965. Mrs. CABRAL was employed as a domestic engineer in New York City and in Boston for 35 years before retiring. She was known for being a great host to all her family and friends who visited her residence. Survivors include two daughters, Mary PEARSULL and her husband, Jack, of Rochester and Elaine GREENE of Bronx, N.Y.; three stepsons, Kenneth CABRAL, Ali CABRAL and his wife, Onega, and Len CABRAL and his wife, Judy, all of Providence; six grandchildren, Jack PEARSULL and his wife, Brenda, of Bridgewater, Timpella FLAGG and her husband, Greg, of Long Island, N.Y., Trinette PEARSULL of Rochester, George OWNES and Edward GREENE, both of N.Y. and Angela DENTSON of Albany, Ga.; three stepgrandchildren, Koble, Nuala and Leana CABRAL; eight great-grandchildren, including Gregory and Michael FLAGG and Romara PEARSULL; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Drew and Maylene CABRAL; 12 great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Stott, Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 2599 Cranberry Highway (Route 28). Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Rochester Notify Administrator about this message?
