The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa
Thursday, January 17, 1907
LOLA MAY, daughter of MR. and MRS. FRANK LAMBERT, was born in Chariton, July
4th, 1898 and died at the home of NELSON CACKLER, Jan. 14, 1907, after a
short illness with diphtheria. Her mother and one sister preceded her to
the better world. She was adopted and cared for by MR. and MRS. CACKLER
where she had a pleasant home.
Death always brings its sorrow but when it comes in this manner, no helping
hand, no consoling words of comfort to the bereft, life must surely seem a
burden. Thus being bereft the community sympathizes deeply with the grief
stricken ones, in the great loss they have sustained.
