I have found a document in the TN State Archives that leads me to believe that the persons listed in it are Rev Richard Dabbs's Children. If you go to message #1278 February 8, 2007 you will see the document in its entirety.
If they are listed as oldest to youngest they would be as followed:
Lucy Dabbs Willis (William Willis)
Elizabeth Dabbs Gill (Michael Gill)
Julia Dabbs Hawkins Willis (1.Abner Hawkins 2.John Willis)
Christopher H Dabbs
Mary Dabbs Dabbs (Tazewell J Dabbs)
Thomas C Dabbs
James R Dabbs
Joseph W Dabbs
Susan G Dabbs(think she married Warner Price Munford Smith)
Henry B Dabbs
Their brother, John R Dabbs, is listed as Complainant in this document, so his birth would land between Thomas C and James R. I have seen where he is listed as born in 1803. Thomas C was listed as 36 years old in his obit of November 1839. His year of birth could have been in 1802, if his birth month was in November or December.
If there is other documentation which shows these Dabbs belonging to other parents, please let me know.
