Hello.
I am looking for Dominico D'Andrea. Dominico and his wife Angeline Mary Ferrara are listed in the Certificates of registration for Forli del Sannio, (Campobosso) Italy as the parents of my Grandfather Carlo, who was born October 30, 1869, and as the parents of the bridegroom Carlo when the bans of marriage for Carlo and Lucia Tonti were posted. I have been unable to find a certificate of birth for Dominico or an Angeline Mary Ferrara in the same records. Dominico may have been named after his father. I believe Dominico moved to the Campobosso area, Forli del Sannio, from France or another area of Italy. My father told me his father said the family came to Forli from France where they owned land and raised grapes. My father said his father said his family "fled" France. I suspect they left France either during the bankrupt reign of Louis XV (1715-1774) or the national French debilitation caused by the Seven Years War(1756-64).
If you have a Dominico with a son Carlo in your linage from anywhere in Italy or France, I would appreciate hearing from you.
