Looking for someone smarter than I, dealling with 2 William EAGLEs on Wayne/Ashland Cos., OH.
William #1 - b 1790-1800, d 1830-1840, m Rebecca UNKNOWN. She was b 1790-1800, d ?. They are both listed in the 1830 Lake Twp., Wayne Co., OH census.
Had sons: Edward, b abt 1817, d aft Jun 1850 census, m Eliza EVEREST/EVERETTS and 2nd son George W. Sr., b 1822, d 1892, m Elizabeth AUSTIN 1850.
William #2 = b abt 1780, d aft Oct 1850 census, Kirksville, MO, m Rachel ANDERSON 1805. She was b abt 1778, d 3 Jun 1862, Macon, MO. In 1850 census, they were in Mohican Twp, Wayne (now Ashland), Co, OH. Kids were Edward B., Emelia/Amelia, Isaiah, Nancy, Mary, Elizabeth, and Thomas..

In 1820 census, #1 was not listed but #2 was in Mohican Twp. listed as over 45 with 1 male 10-15 and 1 male under 10. Sorry but I misplaced the female side.

In 1830 census, #1 is listed in Lake Twp. as 30-40 with 1 male 15-20, 1 male 10-15, 1male 5-10, and 2 males under 5
#2 is listed in Mohican Twp as 50-60 with 1 male 40-49, 1 male 30-40, and 1 male 10-15.

In 1840 census, #1 is not listed but his wife Rebecca ia listed in Lake Twp as 40-50 with 1 male 20-30, 1 male 15-20, 1 male 10-15, and 1 male 5-10. No husband but son Edward (20-30) is living next door.
#2 is listed again in Mohican Twp as 60-70 with 1 male 50-60, 1 male 30-40, and 1 male 20-30.
Obviuosly I do not have the total picture here, sure wish the earlier census' came with first names !!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone ID these 2 William EAGLEs and help me sort out this mess.
