I have been searching the 1850 census in Dauphin co. Pennsylavania and ran across a family Wendel Fackler b. abt 1781 married to Catharine b. abt 1801 and there children were listed:
Joseph Fackler born abt. 1830 in Pa.
David Fackler Born abt. 1835 in Pa.
Dilly Fackler about 1841 in Pa
George Fackler b. abt. 1822 in Pa
Harriet Fackler b. abt 1845 in Pa.
If any one can show light on this family I would love to hear from them.
I also found Wendle Fackler B. abt. 1821 Pa. m. Susan Catherine b. abt 1826 by the date I figure if must be the son of Wendell Fackler and Sarah Stauffer.
Is Dilly Matilda and just a nickname?
