My paternal grandfather was a Michael Joseph Fadden (DOB: 09/27/1883); Date of Death: 02/01/66. His father was a Martin Fadden; his mother was a Mary O'Malley. Story goes, he was from County Mayo, Ireland, and emigrated to the US in approximately early 1920's. He brought with him a niece,-M. Schvanek(sp?). He married Clair(sp?) Murphy, Pittston, PA, who predeceased him. He worked on one of the local railroads as a "Coach Cleaner", and at one point lived in the Olyphant, PA area possibly. Had one son, Joseph Fadden, living today in Northeast PA. I don't know if my Michael Fadden is related to other Fadden namesakes in NE Penna. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
