Researching ancestors & descendants of Daniel HAACK. Daniel was reportedly born on September 18, 1827 in Alfaloraine, Prussia Germany. He died on May 8, 1907 in Little Grove, Menard Co., IL.
Daniel married Mary Christina MORRELL (spelling variations) on 13 Oct 1861 in Menard Co., IL. Mary was born 28 Mar 1843 in Kelze, Germany. Daniel and Mary (Morrell) HAACK had 10 children: Ellen, Jeanette F., Emilie, Caroline, Mary, Matilda, Carl, Charles Frederick, Elizabeth, and Alvena.
Her parents are Carl & Anna Elizabeth MORREL/MORRAL/MORRELL. They immigrated to the U.S. in 1858 (deported from Antwerp, Belgium) and are buried in the Schoeneweiss German Cemetery near Petersburg, Menard Co., IL. Carl died in 1878. The had 3 children: Anna Elizabeth, Margaret E., and Mary Christina - my wife's G-Grandmother.
