I am almost 100% that the painting was done by my great uncle Joseph Arlington Haacke. I know he was the favorite of my grandmothers brothers and that I have a picture of him in a Mason uniform, a picture of him in his casket ( I know it sounds terrible) and deveral others. I know he was born in Markham Ontario and lived in Texas for some time.
I keep hearing about this painting and would love to see a copy.
