I recently visited the birthplace of Josef (Joseph) Jablonski, my great grandfather,in Poland. He was born in Juncewo north of Poznan Poland on 20 Feb 1843 and came to America in 1871 and settled in Portage County (Stevens Point) where he lived out his life as farmer and retiree. He married Josephine Piechowski on 29 Jan 1877 and together they raised 19 children. His village is near Damaslavek just west of Znin in Poznan Poland. If you have relatives in this family which includes names like Groshek, Zdroik, Banke, Check, Sanke(Ciesiolka), Meronek, Literski, Piehowski, Konkol, Mueller, Makuski, Konkel, Meyer, or Lorek this may interest you.
