Dorothy, We are doing a pilgrimage to WI in June and having a brother who moved to the Huntsville, AL area about 6 months ago was planning to return home through that area. We've found the local history museums with libraries to be the best source of "OLD" goodies, including newspaper articals, obits, mortuary records and such. Will now be spending more time in AL this trip. Both, my brother and his wife are interested in genealogy but have less time available. I will look for anything on any "LaBarre's" and let you know if I find anything.....Or not.
