Hello, don't know if you are doing any lookups in your book but if you are: I am looking for records for:
Joseph LaBee married Deborah Canruff
Joseph b. apprx Jan 6, 1812. Poss in Belleville? Also just lists birth as Quebec or Montreal depending on which records you look at. He married Deborah Canruff, b. Canada apprx April 17, 1817. They were married around 1841. Her last name has also been spelled as Kneft and Kneff. Joseph died in La Salle County Illinois April 11, 1892. His wife Deborah died in La Salle on April 17, 1870.
They moved to Illinois around 1846 but it is stated that Joseph had family already living in Illinois and MO.
Children born in Canada are:
Richard b. March 16,1844
T. Ann b. apprx 1842
Catherine b. apprx 1840
(they had three more dau but they were all born in Ill. He also married a second time to Cathrine Maria Woods).
Do you show anything in this book for him?
Also am looking for an Alfred Labbee Labee Labe' born 1811-12 in Quebec. Father poss Joseph. Brothers could be Ambrose and Joshua and Joseph. May have had sister named Victory Victore. Tyring to see if these two families are related.
