I am afraid I can't help with the Martha McGee who married James Logan LaForce. I have a pretty good list of the McGees of that era in Kentucky, at least the McGees descended from the original five brothers, but I have no no Martha who had a brother named John. I do have more information on Nancy who married John M. McGee. She is buried in the Tuscumbia Cemetery, Miller County, Missouri. On her tombstone it gives her date of birth as 10/10/1800 and her date of death as a January 1878. She and John were married 27 July 1818 in Clark County, Missouri. I have so far not found where John M. is buried. I was surprised to find her in Miller County, inasmuch as they lived in Boone County for a long time. I did notice that in the same cemetery there are some Robinsons. You may have noted that there was intermarriage between the LaForces, McGees and Robinsons, at least some of which was controversial, and there may be some explanation there as to why Nancy was buried there, because Robinsons were there. There were two prominent Robinsons, David and William, who were close associates and brothers-in-law to my ancestor David McGee, and in one of their wills, I do not recall which one, it mentions a marriage to Rene LaForce, and that the children of his second marriage, after his marriage to a Robinson, are specifically excluded from any inheritance! Thanks so much for the information. Bill
