Any idea of Robert M. La Force's parents?
They were not brothers. Samuel Benton La Force was the
son of Rene La Force b. Botetourte Co, VA ca 1782, the son of Samue La Force b. Goochland Co, Va ca 1752.
Samuel B. had a brother James Logan La Force but none named Robert. Could he have been a son of George La Force or Gillaspie La Force, both of whom lived in Green Co, IL
as well as their sister Judith who m. James W. Mulberry.
Gillaspie m. Sarah Woods Rice. Robert would not have been
their son as he was too old........Just looking at this I think I see that he could not have been the son of Gillaspie--Gillaspie was b. in KY 1796. He would have
only been 15 when Robert M. La Force was born. So Robert M. must the the oldest son of George La Force.
