The Ruby La Force for which I have info was the daughter of Nancy La Force b. April 12, 1885.
Nan was never married and had the following children:
Ruby
Lily
Lucy lived her entire life in Russell Co, VA. I believe she m. Walter Bruce Kiser
Roland b.Nov 30. 1914 He died in Ohio.
I do not have birthdates for the girls.
They were born either in Russell Co or Dickenson Co, VA.
Nancy was the daughter of Elijah and Phoebe Kiser La Force.
Elijah was an older brother of my great-grandfather William Warren La Force
I do not know of any deaf relative but there could have been. An uncle and a cousin was blind.

I do not live in Va so I could not do research for you--but you might ask on the Rootsweb Russell Co site for someone who might look up records at the Courthouse in Lebanon, VA.
