The Mabee Farm Historic Site in Rotterdam Junction, New York has recently launched a web site (http://timesunion.com/communities/mabeefarm/). Included is a calendar of events, research links, photos of the site/special events, volunteer projects, and more.
The Farm is just winding up its first season of 4-day week tours and special events. The Farm closes for regular tours on September 1st but we still have 3 more special events to go before starting end of year cleanup and repairs. Then we start planning events for next year!!!
If you have old photos of the Farm or Mabee Family members, we would be delighted if you would send us JPGs. We are trying to keep 3 dozen or so photos up all the time and hope to build a library of photos so we can rotate them and keep the photo albums "fresh".
If you know of a site link that might be appropriate for us to list, please email us and give us a hint. We'll be more than happy to add the link if appropriate.
Bookmark our site, visit often and watch what's happening "down on the farm". :)
