Martha, I am descended from John Henry and Leah/Lear Starns Browning of Benton Co. AR (lived also in McDonald Co. MO), buried Jane Cemetery, McDonald Co. William Walter Browning, a grandson of theirs, md. Daisy Viola Mae O'Banion 10 Nov 1902, Lanagan, McDonald Co. Walter was son of William Elijah Browning and Manerva Jeffers--son of John Henry. A daughter of William Elijah was Matilda Melissa Jane (Janie) Browning who md William C. O'Banion. William and Daisy were both children of Joseph O'Banion and Harriet Brooks. So, I am mainly interested in the Browning connection but have gathered lots of O'Banion information in the process. This began when I found an old picture postcard with Janie O'Banion and two children sent to my grandfather Frank Browning abt 1914 from Wichita KS. She called him "cousin."
