I question Norine Viola O'Bannon (1906-1998) being the daughter of Frederick William O'Bannon, Sr. and Willona Fuller.
Frederick and Willona had three children:
Thomas Fuller O'Bannon (1900-1989)
Martha Norene O'Bannon (b.28 Dec 1905 Paonia, Delta Co, CO)
Frederick William O'Bannon, Jr. (b.20 Dec 1914 Paonia, Delta Co, CO)
I have a copy of Frederick Sr's obituary (b.11 Aug 1876 LaMonte, Pettis County, MO, d.18 Jan 1978 Paonia, Delta County, CO) It lists his daughter as Mrs. Norene McNeil of Willamina, OR. I have this Martha Norene as having married twice:
1) Carl Krautwahl (they married 18 Mar 1929 in Paonia)
2) Charles McNeil (no further info)
I do not have this Martha Norene as having married Harry W. Richardson.
So whoever Norine Viola O'Bannon was, she most likely belonged to those O'Bannons in Delta County, CO, but how she fits in with them I do not yet know. I could do searches of the 1930 census and of the SSDI.
The Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery site does list the following:
Harry W. Richardson (b.19 Feb 1892, d.13 Mar 1956)
Norine Viola Richardson "wife of Harry W. Richardson" (b.12 Dec 1906, d.8 Apr 1998).
Despite the fact they were buried in California, I do not find them in the California Death records, so they apparently did not die in California.
Willona Fuller was b.12 May 1877 Milan, Ripley County, IN, d.10 Oct 1957 Paonia, Delta County, CO). She married Frederick William, Sr. 24 Dec 1899 in LaMonte, Pettis County, MO.
Cora (Lloyd) O'Bannon, wife of Martha Norene's brother Frederick William O'Bannon, Jr. contributed items on her husband's genealogy in issues of "The O'Bannon Genealogist" newsletter published 1976-1982 by Mildred Ames. In the issue of Feb 1978 Cora contributed items, including the obituary, on her father-in-law Frederick William, Sr. Included is a copy of a photo of Frederick and wife Willona Fuller, which I would be happy to scan to your private e-mail address.
I knew Cora's son Michael O"Bannon, when he worked for Kaiser Permanente Hospital here in Vallejo, CA some twenty years ago. At last report, Michael was working for Kaiser in Colorado. I don't know if Cora is still living. She would be 87, but she and Frederick were still living in Paonia, CO last I heard, years ago.
I would be happy to work with you in resolving this confusion over the two Norines.
