This message got a bit confused, most likely the way I presented things was not clear enough. Eleanor Highfill and John Miller lived in Fleming Co, KY until 1842 or so,then moved to Platte Co, Mo where he died in 1847. Eleanor stayed there and died there sometime after 1860.

At no time was Eleanor interested in Alcanon O'Bannon as a possible mate, she was over 30 years his senior. I had thought that perhaps she gave him her right of dower because there was a tiny connection between the two.

Eleanor most definitely appeared in O'Bannon's life as she sold her land to him in 1849. I have copies of the deed signed by O'Bannon and by Eleanor Highfill Miller. I was just trying to clarify the connection if possible.
