Hello everyone. I'm obviously new here, but surprised and pleased to find this group. My mother is Barbara Lorraine O'Day, born in Revere Mass. about 84 years ago to Charles O'Day. She married Jack Josey James Newman < http://www.memorialspaceflights.com/memorial/explorers/newman.asp > and moved to his home in Texas where she eventually had 11 (or 12) kids, of whom I'm number 7 (or 8). I have vague childhood memories of my mother's family in Massachusetts, Pennsylvania and Texas, and would like to reestablish contact with them if possible. I've lived in Japan for the past 20 years. As such, I regret that am not in a good position to do any useful primary research to aid in this wonderful genealogy project. However, it is very exciting to dig through online. If any of my mother's family belong to this forum, or if anyone on this forum knows of them, I would like to be put in touch.
