It looks as if you go back further than I have got. The earliest I have is: Thomas Pacey (builder of Bletchley) (no dates) whose 5th child was Francis Leonidas Pacey b.29 Feb 1884 d.1960 (so Thomas was possibly born between say 1820 and 1860) Certainly Sherrington is not far from Bletchley so a connection seems likely. We think, but have little evidence that the Pacey family were Hugenots who moved from France about 1600 or so and settled in the north Bucks area. Regards John
