Why do you think your ancestors are German. They are English. Dates back to the Norman Conquest. There was a William de Pacey in London in 1099. Came over with the Conqueor from Pacey sur Eure in Normandy.
Some of my Cousins came over to the state from Lincolnshire, England in 1870 and eventually ended up in Kansas. This info I've only learn't about recently.

Glad to know there are a few more of you in Texas. I can confirm that going back to early 1800's females have been predominant. I am the last of my line on the male side, nut don't worry. There are goodn GENES on the female side.
