Actually Pace, Pacy and Pacey are all related names and have the same roots. My Pacys were suppose to have originated in Lincolnshire. In some references in Canada, I have seen Harriet's son spell the name your way as in Joseph Pacey Cleal. I have found mostly Paces in the U.S. and Pacys in Canada. Thank you for your response maybe someone else will see it and respond also.
