Al,
No, you do not have to be a member of the LDS
to use the library. A simple phone call or if you
go their web site(FHL CATALOG FAMIY SEARCH) you
may find a link to find the nearest FHL library.
The members can show you how to access the census
rolls on computers in the library and help you
order church records from CO. The rental prices
for microfilm rentals has gone up but $5.75 a roll
is still not too bad. You never know what other
family names will show up, names that might have
additional information.
