John Packham/Peckham married Martha (?Gutsell, born 1762 Westfield) on 6/6/1784 at St Clements Hastings. Their son, also John, was born in Battle (baptised 20/08/1784). I think John senior died before 1790 as a Martha Peckham (possibly nee Gutsell) married John Pain in 1790 (Westfield).
John, junior married a Sarah ( possibly Sarah Peter, in 1807 at Dallington?). Their first son was John Peter Packham, born 1807, Battle.
I would be grateful to hear any information concerning the above persons.
