My wife's great great grandmother was Wilhelmina Quade Gahler (1843-1907) of Waseca County, Minn. There are 3 Quade families in the 1900 Minnesota Census for Waseca County. I assume that they are probably brothers to Wilhelmina. I'm not sure how all the Quade's in the Janesville area tie together. I got a small box of funeral cards and newspaper obits that belonged to my wife's grandmother. One of them is an obit for a Henry F. Quade, who was born 16 Jun 1883 in Alton tws, Waseca County. He married Dora E Kiewatt on 21 Dec 1910. It mentions only being survived by one son, Henry and three grandchildren ... and one brother Charles Quade of Everett, Wash.

I am certainly interested in any further info you have found on the Quade family with ties to those in the Janesville, Minn area.
