Who is this William Quarterman? His death was recorded in a Bible belonging to Sarah Early wife of Valentine Quarterman. "William Quarterman departed this life March the 11 A.D. 1844 in 77 (or 74 [I can't read the number clearly]) yere of his age." Sarah and Valentine moved from PA to IN. Who was William's wife? Did he have children? Another notation says, "John Quarterman departed this life July the 14 1859" and yet another notation reads, "John Quarterman departed this life February the 10, 185_."
