Geri Brennan, You Are Needed

Hi, Geri,

One of your earlier postings, "Belcher, soldiers 1817-1898," referenced John N. Belcher and William H. Belcher. Both served in Ellis Company, 1st MO Mounted Volunteers. John N. Belcher's widow, Martha, filed a claim (pension, I assume) on 19 Aug 1892 in MO. William's was filed 20 Dec 1892 in MO.

What is your source for these records? Are copies of the pension records available to the public and, if so, where and how are they obtained? I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Thanks,

Brad White
