I have just found this site and note some of you are asking where copies of the book can be obtained. I have about three boxes of the books and my brother is storing another 5 boxes. We both live in the UK.
When Jim was trying to sell some of the surplus books after the Cornish reunion he sent a letter out to those Udys in the UK telephone directories advising that copies could be obtained from me for £11.95 including Postage and Packaging. If anyone would like a copy please contact me.
The author, Dr James Udy is a cousin of my father. He lives in Sydney Australia. Both my brother and myself went to the first reunion in 1990 in Petone New Zealand. We also attended the Cornwall reunion with our parents in 1995. Unfortunately non of us were able to attend the 2000 reunion in Vancouver.
For those who may have seen a copy of the book and would like one, to show that I am genuine, I can confirm that the book is 150mm by 230mm and 15mm thick. It is hard backed in white with A Pride of Lions on a blue rectangle and the family crest on the front. On the back is a copy of an old map with St Udy in the middle.
