John Vail Sr. died at the old Brainard Mission (D-1871) which is located in (Hamilton Co.) Cattanooga Tenn. Penelope was his second wife ( died 1844) his third wife was Sarah. (d-unknown)His daughter Mary is also buried there (died 1831). You may find more infomation looking up--The Brainard Mission Cemetery. Hope this helps..Ed Rambo
