My uncle served in the Alpha Co., 1st Regiment and I believe might have been injured at the Fire Base Harriette attack by the vietcong that wiped out an entire Alpha Co.
Some of what I have learned about it, suggests it might be fictional, but other resources suggest that it was indeed a factual attack that took place after the Tet Offensive went into action.
I would love to hear from any Marine that saw action during this attack.
