Hi,
I have been looking for information. Here is the story. My grandfather, Willard Holmes was left at age 2 with a Joseph K. (or R) Waddle and Louezer C. (Gormly) Waddle by his father (Oscar Holmes and mother Nora Ward). This was in either Nevada or Hempstead Co. Arkansas. I actually found in Hempstead marriage records this Waddle couple. They were married12/10/1865. We can go no further. We cannot find any record of my gp being born or the Oscar Holmes. Oscar and Nora are listed on Willard deathcertificate as being born in Ar and being his parents only thjere is no trace of them. Oh by the way Willard married my gm Mary Eskridge Gammage in Prescott Ar in 1919. My email is sandyhogan@cox.net
