I have a book called "The Waddeys of Williamson County Tennessee" written by John H. Waddey. He may have a source that offers proof of this connection. You can write to him at 5995 Port Anadarko Tr., Hermitage, TN. 37076. I haven't put a lot of time in to research lately, but I am decended of Benjamin Waddey and Mary Jane Sprott of Williamson County Tennessee. If the info I have is correct, it goes back to the immigrant John Waddey in Northumberland County VA. If you have any info on where the Wadd(e)y's came from in England, I would greatly appreciate it. I have found a couple of counties in England and a couple of counties in Scotland where they may have come from. Good luck with your research.
