Hello All,
Below is what I have gleaned on the earlier generations of the Waddy family. It is still not clear where John Street fits who married Hannah Waddy, but it seems possible that Street/Waddy connect was close, to say the least. There is some differences of opinion with regards to the kinship of Samuel Waddy to Anthony Waddy, Jr. My feelings are that they are comtemporaries, and not separated generationwise, but I will allow you draw your own conclusions:
1 Anthony WADDY

In October 1633, Anthony Waddy arrived in Jamestown, Virginia, as one of 46 persons who were headrights of Edward Kingswell and Roger Wingate.
The group had been granted a charter to establish a colony in North
Carolina. Another vessell, which never arrived, was supposed to furnish
them transportation to North Carolina. As the attempt to colonize had
failed, it is apparent that the colonists were forced to try to do the best
they could.
On 6 January 1643, Anthony Waddy sold land and housing to Robert Holt,
which he at some time had purchased from Capt. John West. This
transaction took place in York County, Virginia.
On April 18, 1648 Anthony Waddy, along with the other 45
persons appeared on a patent to Mr. Lewis Burwell and Thomas Vause for
2,300 acres on the south side of the York River. Lewis Burwell was a descendent and heir of Roger Wingate.

On 20 August 1667 Samuel Waddy, likely the son of Anthony Waddy appeared in an inventory. Samuel Waddy appeared in St. Peter's Parish Register for "mending ye seats of ye church" on 5 October 1687. Again, his lands were ordered to be processioned 4 May 1689. On 3 December 1699 listed on an account "for dietting ye carpen'r, and for getting of 8 lots of board timber to ye church", for which he was paid 2470 pounds of tobacco, the common currency of the time. He later was paid by the Parish 1200 pounds of tobacco for keeping James Turner. It is believed that Samuel Waddy married Ann --- and they had a son, Anthony Waddy, named as the custom was, for the first born to be named after his grandfather.

There is another Waddy connected to the Street family not just Hannah Waddy to John Street (capt.).
There first was a William Street born in 1680 in New Kent Co, Va. and died in 1752 in Caroline Co, Va. and he was married to Jane Waddy born around 1700 in Va. He owned land in King William Co, Va , about 350 acres in 1704. He left a will in Caroline Co, Va and one of his son's Anthony was the executor and John Baynum and William Dudley were witnesses to it in court in 1752.
For this Jane Waddy there are records in a Waddy family bible that shows her father as Samuel Waddy that was born in 1653 or 54 and his children listed as Anthony Waddy 1680, Samuel Waddy jr. 1684 Jane Waddy 1684(that married William Street), Mary Waddy born june 1, 1687, Elizabeth Waddy born oct 1689, and Judith Waddy born Jan 1701.
The children of William Street and Jane Waddy are:Anthony Street and William Street, (there could have been more children?)
Anthony Street in 1710 in King William Co, Va and died april 1790 in Amherst Co, Va. that married Elizabeth Brockman in 1734 in Orange Co, Va. and they are buried on there last plantation in Amherst ,Va. There children were;
Samuel William Street (my 5th Generation Grandfather), Thomas Street, Daugther Street, Elizabeth Street, Caty Street, Frances Philadelpia Street
William Street born in King William Co, Va about 1700 settled north of James River in Henrico Co, Va. on the west side of today is the city of Richmond. He married a Jane Bayes . He was a surveyor by trade and witnessed many wills and Deeds in both Henrico and Goochland Co. He died in 1776 in Henrico Co, Va. They had children , Richard Street, Elizabeth Street, Rachel Street, William Street, Anthony Street, Sarah Street, John Street, Prudence Street.
We believe that Hannah Waddy is Jane Waddy's Niece. That Anthony Waddy was Jane Waddy's Brother!
So there is more going on that you think and i can give you a name of several Street researches that know much more on this subject of the Waddy's than i do.

Anthony Waddy married, as his first wife, Ann Parke, probably a sister of Sarah Parke and they had at least one daughter, Hannah.
October 29, 1731 p. 282 Orderd into one precinct for processioning all the Lands below Horsly's Mill, upon a Strait Line to Chickahominy Swamp, and to the Extent of this parish downwards, Robt Horsley and John Ellet, to see the said processioning performd, Who made the following return, (viz) Pursuant to this within Ordr, We the Subscribers have procession'd the Land of Joseph Baughon, Simon Wooddy, Wm Bostick, John Philips, Wm Leak, Richd Leak, Anthony Waddy, Walter Leak, Walter Chapman, Col John Fleming, Wm Reynolds, John Hopkins, John Goodwin, Robt Wood, Henry Crumpton, Henry Kerby, Thos Logwood, John Thorp, Richd Crafford, Abraham Burnet, David Anderson, Geo Barker, Robt Vier, Chas Thorp, Robt Strange, Wm Thorp, Michl Tucker, Amos Tucker, Geo Adams, Edmd Willis, Lewis Wadkins Robt Horsly, John Ellett
In 1714, Mr John Park and Anthony Waddy's tithables be added to John Bacon's precinct for clearing the highway (very likely, Anthony Waddy was living with his father in law, John Park) Anthony Waddy was a patentee of lands on Locust Creek in 1721. He married second to Sarah Parke, daughter of John Parke, of New Kent County, Virginia. By 1733 he was living in St. Martin's Parish, Havover County, Virginia. On 9 January 1733 he sold land adjoining Mechumps Creek, Hanover County, Virginia, to John Anderson (whose property adjoined that of Francis Smith and Elizabeth Waddy Smith)

Possible brother to Anthony Waddy who married Sarah Parke. Samuel's will was dated February 1764 and probated 14 August 1764, wit. Anthony Waddy, Lucy Tait, Robert Sharpe. His will names his heirs, along with his wife, Ann.
Samuel Waddy of Louisa Co., Will of: dated Feb. 1764. Debts to be paid. To testator's seven children viz: Mary Waddy, Anna Waddy, Sarah Waddy, Owen Waddy, Frances Waddy, Saml. Waddy, and Elizabeth Waddy all estate Real & personal to be equally divided between them and if an of them should die without lawful issue their portion or portions to be divided between survivors or any of their heirs Living excepting one shilling sterling to son John Waddy as he is heir to the land whereon testator now lives, he is to have no other part of estate. To wife Ann Waddy Executrix and Friend Nathaniel Pope Executor. Witness- Anthony Waddy, Lucy Tait, Robert Sharpe. Probated Augt. 14 1764. W.B. 1, p. 63.
The researcher given below has some different ideas on this Samuel:

Here is my current biography of Samuel Waddy, son of Anthony Waddy and Sarah Parke. I invite comments and corrections.
Samuel Waddy was born in New Kent Co VA but his home fell into Hanover Co when it was formed in 1721. In Feb 1742, Samuel registered his cattle mark with the Louisa Co court: "crop & slit on each ear." About 1745 at age 26, he married Ann Craighill and they had at least 8 children.
In Feb 1764, Samuel wrote his will stating that his debts should be paid, then leaving to his 8 children "Mary, Ann, Sarah, Owen, Frances, Samuel, and Elizabeth all estate real and personal to be equally divided between them and if any of them should die without lawful issue, their portion or portions to be divided between the survivors or any of their heirs living, excepting one shilling sterling to son John Waddy as he is heir to the land whereon the testator now lives, he is to have no other part of the estate. To wife Ann Waddy, executrix and friend Nathaniel Pope executor." Witnesses were Anthony Waddy (Samuel's brother), Lucy Tait (wife of Zenas Tate), and Robert Sharp. The will was probated Aug 14 1764, so Samuel died during 1764.
At Samuel's death, Ann was left with 8 minor children ages 18 through 2. Perhaps Ann was ill because she wrote her will in March 1764, "To son John Waddy half the tract of land whereon the testator now lives. Sons Owen Waddy and Samuel Waddy each one-fourth part of above mentioned tract of land. If either of the said sons die without lawful issue or before he attains to 21 years of age, his part to be equally divided between the survivors, their heirs, or assigns. If by the will of my deceased husband Samuel Waddy, son John Waddy should be entitled to an equal part of his estate then above mentioned tract of land shall be equally divided among my above mentioned sons, their heirs, etc, yet my will and desire is that all my children shall have a just right to work their several slaves on the aforesaid tract of land till they are married or see cause to withdraw them." Nathaniel Pope was the executor with witnesses Mary Burnett, Mary Waddy (this could be any of several relations), Ann Hargo, Ann Waddy (who is this?), and Thomas Craighill. There is no probate date, but Ann probably died in 1764.
If Samuel and Ann both died in 1764, what happened to their children?
Curiously, several of their children died in their early adulthood and some of them before they married. Mary died unmarried in 1773 about age 25, leaving her brother John Waddy as her executor. John died in 1776 about age 30, leaving a young widow Jane and young son Samuel (b c1771). Frances died unmarried in 1778 about age 22 leaving brother Samuel Waddy and Charles Thompson as executors. Since Frances refered to her "brother or either sister," this indicates that her siblings Sarah and Owen have already died. Frances had only brother Samuel and sisters Ann and Elizabeth surviving by 1777. Then Samuel died in 1780 unmarried about age 22.
By 1780, Samuel Waddy and Ann Craighill had only two surviving children (Ann and Elizabeth) and only one Waddy grandchild (Samuel Waddy, son of John and Jane). Daughter Elizabeth married Richard Phillips but is not known what happened to daughter Ann.
