researching amos paxton who is listed in { the territorial records of illinois } amos is listed on page 33 july 31st 1814 in the first regiment as a ensign, later on aug 3d 1815 a lieutenant. i know he was born in virgina abt. 1793.
i would love to know who his father & mother was.
