john henrich romig, 3rd son of john adam, was born in ittlingen, feb. 5, 1729. on dec. 2, 1754 he married hannah volk. children; fredeick, 1755, magdalena, 1758, joseph, 1759, anna maria, 1763. his wife died oct. 17, 1763, he married again to the widow maria elisabeth xander, whose maiden name was kiechel. he became a moravian. he died june 29, 1786
romig, peter, son of peter, was born in north whitehalll, aug. 7, 1797, and died june 27, 1868. he married 1st to oct. 25, 1818 to salome, d/o george wenner. she was born dec. 17, 1799, and died aug. 4, 1847, buried at salisbury church. they had 13 children. he married 2nd to anna hausman, widow of john xander, born feb 10, 1808, died april 2, 1893. they had no children.
trine,george, died 1840, buried at new tripoli. he married a miss rabert. children; esther w/o samuel komp, marh, w/o henry smith, mary (as written) married 1st to a xander, 2nd john dankel, thomas who moved to monroe co., jonas, william married miss bachman and moved to indiana, john moved to new tripoli and aaron.
wer;eu, john, eldest son of johannes, the tailor, was a farmer in lowhill, born 1833, died 1907 and is buried at ziegel church. he married lucy werley, d/o henry, son of dewalt. children, edwin married sybilla moyer, calvin, mary married 1st john fries, 2nd david herman, rose married morris xander, and she died 1910. margaret w/o william botz.
raler, conrad, oldest son of frederick, was born in lycoming co., nov. 8, 1828, at age 3 he moved to northumberland co. in 1899 mr. raker retired and lived with his dau. lydia, mrs. john schlege, at shamokin, until his death, sept. 24, 1911, age 82y 10m 16d. member of emanuel's church. on april 27, 1856 he married susan dornsife, d/o daniel and mary (herb) dornsife. she was born march 22, 1832, died nov. 5, 1899, both buried at emanuel's ch.
