Hello,
I have been searching for the parents of John P. Xander
b. 1833 Pa d. 1911 Richland Co. IL and have had luck. Joseph Xander and Maria ??. I found this in the 1860 Wabash Co. IL Census. Joseph was born in PA and 53 at the time of the census. That would make his birth about 1806/07. The problem is that I am unable to confirm who his parents were. It would be great if someone were able to help me with Joseph and maybe Maria's maiden name. Of course the names were spellt with an H instead of an X, but we know that problem.
