William Fredrich ZABEL, Jr. (26 Jun 1855 - 27 Dec 1908) married Maria LUCHSINGER (30 Sep 1854 - 20 Mar 1904) on 23 May 1878 in the Salem Lutheran Church in Woodbury, Washington Co., MN. Both are buried in this church cemetery. The city of Woodbury is adjacent to Afton in Washington County. Their children included Fred Geo. W. ZABEL (1882 - 1906), William Henry ZABEL (1885 - 1956) and Martha Mathilda ZABEL (1886 - ?)
There are two other ZABEL's buried in the nearby St. John's Church Cemetery in Woodbury:
William ZABEL (1816 - 1905) and Johanna ZABEL (1830 - 1898). We are trying to determine if William-1816 is connected to William-1855 -- they might be father/son.
Also, there are several ZABEL's buried in the St. Paulus cemetery in Afton, MN:
Gottfried Zabel (12 April 1821 -- 13 Dec 1898).and Christina Louise Zabel (8 Feb 1819 -- 7 Aug 1905)
Seems that these ZABEL's might be connected since they are buried within a few miles of each other in Washington Co., MN. I don't have enough info to connect these three sets of ZABEL's -- does anyone?
